2024

So far 2024 has been the year of the mantra. A thought or a concept will enter my mind on a daily basis. Once a thought or concept has taken over me, I write it down. After I write these thoughts and concepts on paper, I make the necessary actions to put them into existence. Manifesting your mantras is the key to living your life to the fullest.

It's as if I'm a character in a story (which is my life) in an alternate universe. Depending on the phase that I'm going through the theme is put in place. My age determines the description of my character. You too can be the main character in your life's story. No matter where you are in life you still have worth and deserve the best life has to offer. Depression and low self-esteem would cease to exist if only single mothers, janitors, and sanitation workers woke up every morning to put on capes.

Leaders of our day seem to be nothing more than puppets and plants used as distractions to prevent us from knowing what is really going on. Since 2020 I have classified myself as apolitical. The reasons for me being apolitical are many (which I will not discuss on this page). The left has lost their moral backbones. The right has sold their values for the sake of gaining power and control. While there is arguing and bickering on Capitol Hill everyday people are struggling to live. We as a nation already have enough problems but if we continue to spiral out of control, we might not be able to redeem ourselves.

To be honest I entertain myself. Most of the music I listen to has no words. The movies and tv shows that I watch are either internationals or historical dramas. I have a taste for the "unique" things that are being created. Whether it's literature, music, or a Netflix special as long as it's real and I can relate to it I will give it some attention. Ultimately, the end goal in our lives is to be our authentic selves so we can achieve our individual greatness.

Walking to the beat of your own drum doesn't just make you bold, but it makes you distinct. Distinctiveness is needed in this hour more than flamboyance and bravado. A message that tells you to be yourself in today's culture is an oxymoron. But that is the message that we need. Each of us have our own rhythm and play our own notes. United under one banner we shall form a multi-layered quartet that the world has never seen.
